I always love a good excuse to use pearls (faux or otherwise!) In this simple tutorial, I show you how to make your own chic-n-easy hair accessories. I feel like these could go dress or casual or anything in between.
For this project, you’ll need a metal hair barrette base, craft/bead wire (mine was 24 gauge I believe, but any size that is small enough to go through your bead should work), and of course, the pearls! These can be fake, fresh-water, or something else–glass Czech beads, wooden beads, resin beads, or any natural stone bead would work well, too. (I’m thinking you could even try this with buttons!) You’ll also need needle nose pliers to cut your wire.
