Stressed, blessed, and textile-obsessed… Prairie Craft Almanac Ep. 34

Episode 34 of Prairie Craft Almanac is out now!
I’ve been somewhat regular with posting episodes (trying for the first and third Tuesday of each month), but this one is a little late…also, as I mention in the show, I might be skipping an episode in March, but that’s only because I’m getting ready for some exciting stuff!

In just a few weeks, I’ll be participating in a fashion event, so I’m working toward updating my slow fashion zines and getting some demo items together…then shortly after that, I’ll be part of an art show. Normally, I’d be showing paintings, drawings, prints, etc…but this time I want to focus on textiles. I might have some of those other things too, but my goodness, why did I never think to focus on textile art?! (I mean, it kind of just makes sense…)

I’ve been playing with my new Oxford punch needle (which I highly recommend), and it is so very enjoyable; I plan on having a number of punch needle art pieces, as well as some zines, and hopefully a fun other fun surprises!

Plus, garden season is upon us…needless to say, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed! But in a good way.

So, on today’s podcast episode, I’m sharing three fabulous and inspiring artists, and hope you’ll check them out for yourself! I talk about Sky High Farm Work Wear, which is the fashion brand that benefits the regenerative Sky High Farm in New York. I also chat about the work of Autumn Callison, designer behind Threads and Throws, and the incredible beaded work of Sofia Guseva.

You can listen on Apple Podcasts, Audible, Spotify, or wherever you like get your podcasts. And as always, everything I talk about is linked for you in the show notes.
