Biscornu Pincushion | Video Tutorial

This hand-stitched pincushion is the ideal sewing project for just about anyone! Not only do you end up with a very practical item, but it’s easy to stitch by hand so it’s portable, and it’s a great project for using up small bits of fabric–including those teeny, tiny pieces like seam trimmings!

For this project, you’ll need two squares (mine were 4″, which means my finished pincushion ended up being approximately 3.25″ wide), a hand sewing needle, thread, stuffing (this can be something like fiberfill or scraps–I even used some cotton I grew!), and a decorative button.
