Chonky Cap – Free Knitting Pattern

Need a last-minute gift knit?!

I made myself a cap, and I thought I would share the pattern. It’s basic, but cute, and since it’s a fairly simple pattern that uses chunky yarn, it knits up pretty darn quick! Make one for yourself, your friends, and anyone who could use a versatile (and cozy) knit hat…you can check out the free pattern below.

You’ll need some US 10 and US 13 double pointed needles–or short circular needles–and a skein of Wool Ease Thick & Quick yarn, or something similar in weight. This photo below shows just how much (or how little!) yarn was leftover once it was completed…so I’m estimating that you will need about/at least 85 yards (this skein was 87 yards).
