Etcetera Etcetera Boutique & Workshop

I’m so excited to share this fantastic local gem with my local friends–and, of course, anyone who isn’t local but might be interested in visiting. 😉

There’s a new boutique (and workshop!!) right smack dab in the heart of Maize, Kansas. It opened at the end of last year, but I only recently was able to get around to exploring it a bit…and it did not disappoint.

Etcetera Etcetera Boutique & Workshop is sweet, cozy space showcasing all sorts of fabulous, unique goods; many are from small businesses, including local makers, as well. The owner, Stacy, orders small quantities of items on a regular basis, ensuring that there’s always something new to see in the shop. But beyond being an advocate for small and handmade businesses, Stacy is also all about building local community, which is why there’s a space at the boutique dedicated specifically to workshops, classes, and other events. There’s also a large courtyard out back, and soon, there will be a lot more parking space. I believe this place is going be a major hub for community events and connection, and I cannot wait to see how it grows.

This Boutique & Workshop is continuation of my 20+ years volunteering in our budding community. The workshop provides a brick & mortar for small business hopefuls, gathering space for teens & seniors, themed nights out…and this charming boutique filled with uniquely common gifts and a little nostalgia… You’re walking into my best daydream. -Stacy

If you’re a local, please do stop by this fantastic boutique!! They’re located at 111 W Academy Ave., Maize, KS 67101 and are open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and open from noon to 5pm on Thursdays. You can follow them on facebook or instagram to stay updated on events and more.

Also…if you’re an artist, maker, want to offer a class or workshop, or are just very excited about opportunities for the Maize community, do not hesitate to talk with Stacy about it! She is very open to ideas and is passionate about supporting us.

But without further ado, here is just a small sampling of photos I took while there…I took a ton, really, but was not on my photography game that day!! >.< And…do I really need to overwhelm you with pictures when you can just go see for yourself?!
